Brick Production
Brick production can be simplified into four basic steps.
•Cut the soil and prepare the clay, The clay is well seasoned
•MOULDING OF BRICKS
Making bricks manually.
Mechanical fixing of bricks
•Dry the prepared bricks
•BURNING OF THE BRICKS

The quality of the bricks
The
durability and strength of the brick depends on the properties
(chemical composition) of the soil used and the method of manufacture.
Most of the brick-making clay contains Al2O3, sand, or silica (SiO2)
and, in addition, a small amount of iron oxide, magnesia, Chalk and
salts. The materials of bricks due to presence of these materials can be
summarized as follows.
Alumina (Al2O3) –
Alumina,
a basic component of clay, creates plasticity in clay. Helps to build
toughness in the brick. If the amount of aluminum in the clay is high,
the brick will shrink during drying and burning.
Silica (SiO2)
Silica
prevents raw brick explosion, bedding, and shrinkage. Increases
robustness and durability of bricks. Brick due to increased silica
percentage Brittleness increases and weakens.
Chalk
helps to turn silica into liquids at low temperatures. Minimize shrinkage of bricks

Iron oxide
contains a small amount of iron oxide in the brick and softens the sand
Helps to melt. It is these iron oxides that make the red color of the brick burn.

Magnesia.
Reduces brick shrinkage and adds a dark yellow to the brick.
The bricks are decaying because they contain too much magnesium.
Characteristics of a good cabin
- direct should have edges.
- The face should be flat
- Must be free of cracking and explosion,
- The brick should be well burned and should be of a uniform color with reddish brown. The inner color of a brick should be the same
- Must have the right dimensions.
- When a brick is immersed in water for 24 hours, the water absorption percentage must not exceed 20% of the dry weight of the brick.
- When two bricks collide, a metallic sound must be emitted
- Brick header face 1.2m There should be unbroken when dropped from a height.
Various types of bricks
Classification of bricks according to the production method,
Normal Bricks
Here
first, a tannery matte mold Baha Raw makes bricks. The raw bricks are
then burned in the furnace to produce the ordinary bricks. The bricks
are often used for general construction. There is no specific finish or
aesthetic appearance of these bricks. Therefore, the construction of
these bricks should be done by plastering. These bricks are widely used
for wall construction.
pisector
ceang (Engineering Bricks) This brick is made of high compressive
stress. This brick is baked to a very high temperature and is of high
density and high strength. Brick water absorption is also low, and this
brick is widely used for civil engineering projects.
Wire cut bricks
These
brick factories are manufactured under nice quality control. Then the
clay is machined to a high compression and the Clity bar is set up and
cut into blocks of wire with the help of a wire. Now the bricks are
dried in the air and then baked in the stove.
wire
cut bricks have high compression strength and a spectacular finish.
Therefore this brick is used for exposed walls (non-plastering walls).
These bricks are more expensive than ordinary bricks,

Perforated Bricks
The
brick consists of several holes of small diameter. This brick can be
used for thermal insulation walls. The bricks are light weight and
therefore easy to carry out. You can also use Electric Wiring To Pull,
which is available in this brick available Holes Building Services. This
brick is suitable for Partition wall
This is the brick with gullets
A
small amount of the upper surface of the brick is projected into the
brick. Therefore, the horizontal strength of the brick wall increases
the strength of the brick as the mortar passes through the upper surface
of the brick.
